What to keep in mind

Merged PDF pages are rebuilt as images; output text is no longer selectable. Check page order and content. Merging or changing a signed PDF may invalidate its original electronic signature. Password-protected or very large files may not be processable.

File content is edited in your browser; the browser may temporarily retain a download while you sign in. The server keeps a 30-day account-linked history of tool, format, byte size and time only. It stores neither the filename nor file content; there is no cloud file storage.

Common questions

Are text and signatures retained when merging PDF?

This tool always rebuilds the merged PDF as images. It retains the visible page appearance, but not selectable text, forms or original signature validity. Use Split PDF for page selection that copies original content.

Is the editor free to use?

Yes. Editing does not require registration; downloading requires a free SEVO account. Editor downloads do not create a payment order or request card details.

Can I open legacy Word and Excel formats?

Use DOCX or ODT for text documents and XLSX, CSV or ODS for spreadsheets. PDF and image tools are also available. Legacy DOC/XLS files and DOCM/XLSM macro documents are not supported. Complex or large files may require a desktop application.
