What to keep in mind

A coloured rectangle alone does not remove the original PDF text. This editor always rebuilds exported PDF pages as images without retaining the original page objects. Check the result; text on rebuilt pages is no longer selectable.

File content is edited in your browser; the browser may temporarily retain a download while you sign in. The server keeps a 30-day account-linked history of tool, format, byte size and time only. It stores neither the filename nor file content; there is no cloud file storage.

Common questions

Can I edit the original PDF text?

The tool adds text and covers rather than rewriting original text. For an editable document, PDF to Word reconstructs an extractable text layer in DOCX without guaranteeing the original layout.

What happens to covered content and signatures?

Export renders pages into a new PDF as images without original page objects. Check that every intended area is covered. Selectable text, interactive forms and original electronic signature validity are not retained.

Is the editor free to use?

Yes. Editing does not require registration; downloading requires a free SEVO account. Editor downloads do not create a payment order or request card details.

Can I open legacy Word and Excel formats?

Use DOCX or ODT for text documents and XLSX, CSV or ODS for spreadsheets. PDF and image tools are also available. Legacy DOC/XLS files and DOCM/XLSM macro documents are not supported. Complex or large files may require a desktop application.
