What to keep in mind
Complex formulas, charts and specialised Excel or OpenDocument features may not be fully preserved or recalculated. CSV saves current-sheet values only, without formulas or formatting. External data connections and macro execution are not supported; XLS and XLSM files cannot be opened.

File content is edited in your browser; the browser may temporarily retain a download while you sign in. The server keeps a 30-day account-linked history of tool, format, byte size and time only. It stores neither the filename nor file content; there is no cloud file storage.
Common questions
How do XLSX, ODS and CSV exports differ?
XLSX and ODS retain worksheets and supported values, formulas and basic formatting. CSV is UTF-8 text with a BOM and current-sheet values only, without other sheets, formulas or styles.
Does CSV import support quoted values and decimal commas?
Import supports comma, semicolon or tab delimiters, quoted fields and multiline cells. UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16 are supported. Leading-zero identifiers are retained; review imported values and number interpretation.
Are all Excel and ODS formulas recalculated?
No. A subset of common formulas is supported; complex functions may use a cached value or display a warning. Charts, pivot tables, macros and external data sources are not fully supported. Check important calculations separately.
Is the editor free to use?
Yes. Editing does not require registration; downloading requires a free SEVO account. Editor downloads do not create a payment order or request card details.
Can I open legacy Word and Excel formats?
Use DOCX or ODT for text documents and XLSX, CSV or ODS for spreadsheets. PDF and image tools are also available. Legacy DOC/XLS files and DOCM/XLSM macro documents are not supported. Complex or large files may require a desktop application.
